Read Baby Boy Poems

Baby verses and baby sentiments can be focused on either a boy or a girl baby. This is a baby boy poem.

Boy, Oh Boy!

Your life will be filled with riotous joy;
You’re in for it now; boy, oh boy!
Your new and thrilling life begins,
Full of baby boy coos and mischievous grins.

He’ll use every trick and baby ploy
To get your attention...your baby boy.
Soon he’ll crawl, explore and run;
His boyish adventures will never be done.

So don’t waste time with your newest toy,
He’ll be grown in a moment, your cute baby boy.

Baby poems should include verses for both boys and girls. Here's a baby boy poem for your baby poem collection. A baby boy is a treasure! Tie it to the baby gift with a blue ribbon!

A Natural High

What else could bring you so much joy
As the arrival of your baby boy!
His snuggly charms now capture you;
He's in your thoughts in all you do.

Nothing can fill you so full of glee
As bouncing your little boy on your knee.
His precious antics please mom and dad;
He's a bundle of blessings, this little lad!

His boyish grin enchants everyone;
He's just what you wanted--your boy, your son.
A baby boy is a natural high,
So have lots of fun with your little guy.

Here’s a new baby boy poem that lets parents know they’re going to become kids again! It’s baby poetry that fits easily on a vertical card, but if you have a horizontal card, you can combine each two lines into one line, so that each line rhymes with the next.

Amazing Joy

There’s lots of fun,
And we don’t mean maybe,
Coming to you
With your boy baby.

Your life is filled
With amazing joy
By this adorable creature,
Your baby boy.

Watch him, love him,
Learn again how to play,
As your own inner child
Comes out more every day.

Take lots of time
To enjoy your son,
Because much too soon,
Childhood is done.

Congratulations on your new treasure!

Baby Announcement Poem

This baby poem is designed as a baby announcement poem.

Baby Announcement Poem

This is to inform you,
To keep you updated,
Someone's arrived at our house
To whom we're related.

He screams and he wails
But he still brings us joy,
For the arrival we have
Is a new baby boy.

This baby poem is short and sweet.

Your New Arrival

It’s got a cute nose and big round eyes;
It’s created excitement you can’t disguise;
It’s a wonderful baby from a perfect pair,
And that’s reason enough for a great fanfare.

So... ta-dah!
Congratulations on your new arrival.

Baby poetry is often meant to go on a card, as this new baby poem is.

Joy Without Measure

We heard the good news,
So it's hip, hip, hooray!
We're so happy for you,
And we hope and we pray
That your brand new addition
Is a wonderful treasure,
And along with the work,
He/she brings joy beyond measure.

By Karl and Joanna Fuchs

Baby poems should convey the joy new parents feel at having a baby. This baby poem does that while including a note of realism about lack of sleep!

Amazing Joy

A new family member has arrived,
Your darling, precious baby.
Your lives are filled with amazing love,
And sleep has become a "maybe!"

Congratulations! Now enjoy
Your dear and special treasure;
Your lives are better, now transformed
With childhood’s awesome pleasure.

Babies are amusing by nature, so baby poems can be humorous. Here's a funny baby poem that would be perfect next to a scrapbook baby photo.

The Joy of Raising a Baby

We’re glad you joined our family,
Yet some things make us wonder;
How can a little package like you
Have a voice that’s loud as thunder?

You are so small and oh so cute,
But you are never very shy,
For whenever you want something brought to you,
You just open your mouth and cry.

First you moved on hands and knees,
Then you were up on your feet.
We’re chasing you all around the house;
We’re tired; we need a retreat!

Your food is smeared over the table;
Your food is on the floor;
Seems the only place food didn’t go,
Is in the baby we adore.

Diapers here and diapers there,
Stinky... smelly... Whew!
Diapers would have done us in,
If we didn’t love you as we do.

We’re glad you joined our family,
You’re a unique and wonderful treasure.
So, despite the work of raising you,
Being your parents is a total pleasure!

Treasured Offspring

As babies go, yours must be rare,
For it got its life from quite a pair!
No doubt your offspring is a special treasure;
It's from you two, and you're both a pleasure.

May he be a joy and blessing to you;
You'll be good parents in all you do.
We rejoice at this wonderful thing you've done;
Enjoy your baby and have great fun!
